♥ stamping with lace bouquet♥

good morning everyone♥

i am sorry for the lack of posting, we had a banquet to create/decorate and now i am back with some cards created over the weekend using a stamp set from Papertrey Ink.

i am introducing a new feature on my blog. i will choose a stamp set and create an assortment of cards using primarily that stamp set.

today, i am featuring the lace bouquet set from PTI

this is a $15.00 set and is just gorgeous. and as much as i loved it, i hadn't shown it much love on cardstock. so i decided broke out this set for the following cards.

in this feature, i will be creating various styles using the stamps, some CAS cards, some flat-mailable cards, some layered just a variety i hope.

(click pics to enlarge)

birthday wishes card

i stamped one of the larger, individual, floral stamps and one of the smaller one in spring moss and aqua mist PTI ink

birthday wishes butterfly card

i created this card using the larger, individual florals to stamp the butterflies and then the smaller flower stamp to create the little flower clusters. i also used one of the leaves from the Round & Round anniversary set for the leaves. (i tried not to use another image set, so as to share one set, however, there aren't leaves in this set and i wanted leaves, you could use ANY leaves for this step)

hello card

i wanted to create a CAS hello flat/mailable card, so i used the smaller florals again and the leaves and paired them with the "hello" sentiment

hello CAS card

i created this CAS flat/mailable card using the pretty small florals and a die from the flags and tags and die/stamp set from Lil Inker Designs

quick recovery card

created using the large floral bouquet and a sentiment from healing touch sentiments
from PTI

hello CAS card

i created this card using the flags and tags die set again

i hope if you have this set, you've been inspired to pull it out and just play with various designs this week.

thank you for visiting me today and all your sweet comments♥

hugs and love
danni

  10. I don't know how you can switch from your shabby rustic look and then come out with CAS work? How does that happen? You do them both so well. Sick. Like the good kind of sick ;) I bought a big floral set from PTI too....I don't think it was this one, but similar...and I don't even stamp - LOL! But I loved it. Maybe seeing this will give me the oompf to get inky with it soon... Have a great weekend, dollface!
