i created a tutorial today to share a couple of ideas to use up the scraps from your kit each month. for my tutorial and cards, i used strips of pp that had been cut from other projects and not thrown away.
so let's get started
(click pics to enlarge)
here is the first card i created using these butterflies cut from the pp strips
birthday wishes card
don't throw away the negatives either, because they are really cool looking and make for fun cards
birthday wishes negative card
on this card, i used the negative that was created from die-cutting two of the butterflies.
i also had a negative from the third butterfly used in the first card and used that on this card
birthday wishes card
(yes, i have needed some birthday cards :) )
but wait!
maybe you have a fun tag die that you would like to use
easter wishes card
and the negative was just as fun with this shape too and perfect for the teacher thank you card i needed :)
thank you teacher card
i thank you for visiting me today and hope you give this tutorial and fun technique a try with your scrap pile.
