you have until TONIGHT, Wed. March 28th, by MIDNIGHT PST, to leave comments for the My Scrapbook Nook Spring DT Hop.
(there are over $200 in prizes, so if you haven't hopped yet, you don't want to miss this one!)
i am back with another series of cards created with ONE stamp set.
this week, i will be featuring cards stamped with PTI Pretty Peonies. This set is the Papertrey Ink
2012 anniversary set, but unlike in the past, where you were not able
to purchase the anniversary sets, changes to their customer rewards
allow you to use points to purchase ANY PTI sets. I found this set particularly beautiful, gorgeous peonies, beautiful sentiments and oh that butterfly.
isn't it pretty? :)
happy birthday to you card
i stamped the solid peonies onto PTI Stamper's Select cardstock using PTI Berry Sorbet dye ink, cut them out and popped them up with 3-D mounting tape
everything is going to be okay card
to create this card, i stamped the solid peony onto PTI kraft cardstock using kraft ink. i then stamped the peony outline onto the top of a couple of the solid peonies using Versamark watermark stamp pad, and heat embossed them using white opaque powder from Stampendous
hello my dear friend card
banners have been all the rage, and i love stamping the peonies on a large banner to be the focal on this card. i masked the smaller peony on the sentiment tag to create the tag pattern.
the next card was inspired by the sketch below. isn't that cuuuute?
( i have more ideas for this sketch but wanted to play with the stamps on these flags.)

happy birthday to you card
(i didn't want to add a lot of bulk to the card so i chose to stitch the flags to the pp)
and how about a quick, belly band, anniversary card?
happy anniversary card
thank you all for all of your very sweet comments, taking time to visit me and your friendship.
hugs.

ReplyDeleteWow, Danni! These are gorgeous! I love the embossed peonies. They turned out beautifully. And yep, I second what Deanna said about starting to stamp :-)
ReplyDeleteI've been struggling with this new woodgrain craze. Woodgrain patterned paper in almost every collection now and I just can't seem to make it work. And you make it look so easy...with bright fun flowers. And I love the pennant works too. Always a pleasure to see what you have been up to, Miss Danni.
