good morning.
i will be sharing Easter projects and ideas on the blog all week in the celebration and preparation of our Easter celebration. yesterday, i shared Easter basket tags and goodie bags that we will be giving to hubby's staff this year in this post
today, i am sharing a card with you that was born from the negatives of the Easter basket tags below
when i peeled off the Easter basket cut from my Silhouette Cameo Cutting Mat
this is what i saw
(please excuse my paper-riddled mat, i cut out 50 baskets and it has since been bathed....giggle)
the paper below the mat is the pp i removed the baskets from, ON TOP of the mat is what was left after i removed the basket cuts. and that's when i saw it. a perfect Easter egg. being the scrap user that i am, i KNEW that would not be thrown away....giggle. hence, the birth of the idea for today's card.
(these would make PERFECT little Easter tags or place card settings too)
let's hit the coop card
i love this sticker sentiment from Jillibean Soup Southern Chicken Dumpling Soup line and new i wanted some baby chicks "breaking out of the egg" to hit the coop.
the cute little heart sticker is also from the Jillibean Soup Southern Chicken Dumpling Soup line and the rest of the card was created using the April My Scrapbook Nook kit packed with gorgeous Crate Paper Story Teller line
tomorrow, i hope to be sharing my Easter Bunny Garland with you. I like to create decorations for Easter and while i love lots of details in my work, decorations have to be able to be replicated quickly with relative ease, so i hope it'll inspire you to create one for your home this year using supplies you have on-hand.
thank you so much for all your sweet notes, they always, always {hug} my heart.
so much love to you♥
