This is my first true December Daily
album and it's so much fun, I can't wait to see it all finished. I am sharing my October Afternoon Very Merry December Kit along with lots of Cameo cuts I have purchased
and "promised" myself I would use, well, I AM GOING TO USE
THEM....smile, and am feeling so happy about the opportunity to use the
cuts and this gorgeous kit. My pictures this week are very busy, so I
created insert pages for journaling and adding embellishments to the
"story".
Here is my title page
I absolutely love all the journaling
cards and embellies in this kit. I added some vellum to the page from
stash, but the rest is from the kit and decade stamp
Pages One and Two
Every year, my children make a
Gingerbread Village with their Grandmother and she fills an entire 10
foot table, with every candy, pretzel, graham cracker imaginable and the
kids have the BEST time. They have even won a contest at the museum,
one of our most favorite Christmas memories.
On my next pages, we are celebrating my
MIL's birthday. It's the first part of December and kicks off our
December festivities every year. We have a large family and we spend a
week doing various activities with her. This was our time to enjoy a
handmade cake and some coffee, very relaxing and such a fun tradition.
The journaling explains some feelings
about Thanksgiving being the last weekend and Christmas right around the
corner, there is SO much to be done, but this party helped us all relax
as it always does.
I printed my journaling onto vellum and stitched it over snowflakes cut from Bazzill cardstock and sequins
The felt heart on the chipboard
candycane was cut from one of the sheets of felt that comes in the kit,
so much fun to cut hearts out of it, love it♥
On my next pages, I am sharing the
shopping trip my daughter and I had during Black Friday weekend. We are
not the crazy kind of shppers, we just enjoyed our Starbucks and a
mother/daughter Christmas shopping trip. We took time to have a lunch
date, enjoy the Christmas trees and of course shop!
I combined a couple of Cameo cuts for this Black friday title cut from Bazzill cardstock (from stash)
On my next two pages, I shared some of our annual traditions, besides "the elf", that
cute little guy will be a seperate page in my album. These traditions
are the advent calendar the kids check every morning and the wrapped
Christmas books we open every night before bed to read. (sorry for the
glare from the page protector)
On my last two pages, we attended the
Nutcracker ballet and it was SO much fun. I am actually creating an
additional insert with the program and tickets, but I didn't have time
to create those before this post.
I LOVE all the patterned papers in this
kit, they are gorgeous and work so well with any pictures, so many
colors and patterns to choose from
Thank you SO much for joining visiting me this weekend!
Very Merry Creating♥

ReplyDeleteDanni...I just saw this on the OA blog and had to pop over here. First of all, you made me have to buy that ballerina cut file...about to go to our very first Nutcracker with Emma. This is beyond amazing! I cannot wait to look at this more and see all of your pages come together!
