♥ bicycles & pinwheels ♥

who doesn't love them?  i am a sucker for both.  i love my bicycle, ride all summer long, and pinwheels?  well, be still my heart♥  speaking of bicycles and pinwheels, there are 2 new CARD challenges this week over at My Scrapbook Nook featuring a bicycle tag and lots of pinwheels♥

good morning.  sorry for my absence yesterday, we've had a sad bit of news for our family and it was a hard day.

today i wanted to share some cards i created using the MARCH kit from jillibean soup card kitchen 

the papers and embellies are all from their southern chicken dumpling soup line and are the cuuuutest.

(i'm sorry for the picture quality, it is VERY windy here and so difficult to take the best pics)

Bunny Garland

i cut the bunnies using the "B" side of this paper from Crate Paper

i chose to use my Papertrey Ink egg die instead of the egg that came with the Bunny Garland Cut
(i just "un-grouped" the images before cutting them in the silhouette studio)  i chose to use my PTI die because i wanted the egg to have a 3-D effect when being held by the bunnies.  (i could've done this by enlarging the egg image in the Silhouette Studio, however when i was deciding what size to use, the PTI die was the perfect size)

i added noses by using my Martha Stewart Hearts Punch and some button twine from Papertrey Ink

you can see in this pic below, that the eggs actually are lifted from the bunny to look 3-D
