♥ bicycles & pinwheels ♥

who doesn't love them?  i am a sucker for both.  i love my bicycle, ride all summer long, and pinwheels?  well, be still my heart♥  speaking of bicycles and pinwheels, there are 2 new CARD challenges this week over at My Scrapbook Nook featuring a bicycle tag and lots of pinwheels♥

my challenge this week was to create a card inspired by this sketch

when i create sketches, i like to create easy ones that can be interpreted several different ways.
and here's the card i created inspired by this sketch

happy card

isn't that bicycle tag too cute?

you can participate in this card challenge here (and you do not have to use a 'Nook kit)

and jessy posted a pinwheel-inspired card challenge this week here
i was INSPIRED by this challenge, but didn't exactly have 3 pinwheels or paper rosies on a card, i created 4 cards with pinwheels.....giggle

♥ where have all the eggs gone? ♥

good morning.
today i would like to share with you the Easter Bunny Garland i created to hang in our home this year.  to create this garland, i used this Silhouette Cameo Easter Bunny Garland Cut
HOWEVER
i have also found some diy templates around the web for those that may not have a Cameo.

there are super cute templates herehere, here, here, here and here

for my bunny garland, i used the new APRIL My Scrapbook Nook kit GRAB BAG filled with gorgeous Crate Paper Pretty Party

and there's an amazing deal right now that you don't want to miss.

there are less than a handful of My Scrapbook Nook APRIL kits left!!!!! new members who sign up will receive the May kit for FREE and a beautiful October Afternoon Grab Bag Kit for free.
After a year paid subscription your 13th kit will be for FREE!
  (90.00 Value for FREE!)

don't wait to get yours!

Bunny Garland

i cut the bunnies using the "B" side of this paper from Crate Paper

i chose to use my Papertrey Ink egg die instead of the egg that came with the Bunny Garland Cut
(i just "un-grouped" the images before cutting them in the silhouette studio)  i chose to use my PTI die because i wanted the egg to have a 3-D effect when being held by the bunnies.  (i could've done this by enlarging the egg image in the Silhouette Studio, however when i was deciding what size to use, the PTI die was the perfect size)

i added noses by using my Martha Stewart Hearts Punch and some button twine from Papertrey Ink

you can see in this pic below, that the eggs actually are lifted from the bunny to look 3-D

if you make one for your home i would love it if you would link up here so i can come visit.

i will be back tomorrow with another Easter feature:

Easter table place cards (with a tutorial)

here's a little sneak (i don't have all the pics edited yet_

i hope you'll come visit me tomorrow to see the tutorial and full reveal of these little guys.

thank you, ALL, for your incredibly sweet, wonderful comments
hugs
