for my project today, i chose to create a mini album using the new Here and Now pages

 woodland park "play" album

i cut the butterflies straight from the pp

you're gonna love these brads, they're absolutely beautiful

i wanted to stitch the word "play" negative on the front of the cover, so i traced, lightly, with pencil onto the page, then stitched the tracing, erased the pencil and added some dimension to the word.

and here are some of the inside pages of my album
page 1

i love, love the stickers in this line, they are happy and for everyday life.  love the bike and that flower scallop trim sticker.....swoooon

 i LOVE these bunnies

 washi tape

 and tidbits

page 4

 cute turtles too?

page 5

it's fun to stitch a clear pocket over the journal tags and fill them with fun confetti of all kinds.  i also cut one of the journal tags in half and adhered the pieces to both sides of my picture.

 page 6

the journal cards make fun picture mats too for the album-sized pics

i love this pre-printed banner here and now page, was so fun to embellish

so IF you want a chance to win this collection, make sure to stop by the OA BLOG and leave a comment.

thank you so much for visiting me today and for your incredible notes♥

♥ here and now ♥

good morning.  how are you?  ready for the 4th?
i love celebrating the 4th with the kids, they are so much fun and love the fireworks.   it's not any one huge thing, it's the little things, like creating 4th of July tee shirts with fabric paints and markers or trying on 4th of July beads, you know, just to make sure they fit, i love my babes.

yesterday was my day to post on the OA Blog.  this week we are featuring projects using the new Cakewalk Here and Now Chapter pages.  Today's Monday challenge is to create a project other than a mini using the Here & Now Chapter pages.

Oa here and now

I chose to create gift card/cash gift pockets with some of the pages from my "Here and Now" album.  I scored the pages at 3 1/2" and began stitching, trimming, and layering them with the fun embellies from the Cakewalk line.

The "B" sides are just as cute as the "A" sides too, with fun grids, gingham and patterns

Assortment

With two of the album pages, I decided to create a clear confetti pocket and fill it with OA embellies before stitching closed.  It feels like a party in a bag and the little tid bits can move around

After stitching the chipboard balloon, I tucked it into the pocket also before stitching closed.  Once the pockets were stitched closed, I adhered the tin pin to the front of the pocket.

Some of the pockets open from the side too because of pre-printed patterns on the pages.
