♥ Countdown to Halloween--less than 30 minutes ♥

hello♥

i want to share a VERY quick, VERY easy banner to make in NO time at all.  you could create one of these for your office desk, your front window, mantle or to surprise a co-worker, classroom parties, seriously, EASY banner.  you could re-create this banner in less than 30 minutes.

to create my banner, i used the new Pebbles Thirty One halloween bags, folded and adhered both ends to the middle for the bottom of the banner, and folded down 1/2" on the top to run the twine through and adhered.

 

 i then turned them over and stapled a strip of My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting patterned paper and layered stickers to the front.  

 

 to finish it up, i added some sequins from my stash and gorgeous grosgrain orange ribbon

♥ MME halloween countdown inspo♥

good morning!  i am up on the My Mind's Eye blog today with a LOT of halloween cards as we continue our countdown to halloween.  i created all of the cards using the new My Mind's Eye Happy Haunting line.  i can not tell you how i love this line.  

i chose to create TWO different sets of cards with this line.  i have shared with you on the blog here, that i love halloween, if it's cute.  i know, but it's me.  i am not a "spooky halloween" kind of person at all, it's creepy (which makes it so much fun for others, and that's why we all live where we do, right?)

so, today i shared a very traditional interpretation of the line and then i decided to add some purple, green, orange and white cardstock to the line to share a different interpretation, a more "cutesy" approach.  regardless of your personal halloween taste or style, i hope you find some inspiration in the sets, because they sure were fun to create!

AND can i just say that i am absolutely head over heels in LOVE with the new enamel dots in the Cupid's Arrow and new Lost and Found Record It lines?  can you see the glittery centers?  they are so, so awesome and i used the Lost and Found enamel dots on several of these Halloween cards, but you can see the shimmery/glitter in the detail shot above

♥ halloween inspiration countdown ♥
