♥ playing catch-up ♥

good evening!  how are you?  we are enjoying the spring weather here today, it's nice to open up the windows and feel the fresh air.  how about you?  the weather beginning to change where you are yet?  i am really looking forward to springtime, birds and sunshine.  i have been battling this terrible sinus cold, it's lasted a long time as it has for several teachers i work with, no bueno, but i think i am getting there.

today, i wanted to share a couple of cards i have created a couple of places and have not been able to share here. 

first up are the cards i have created for the Jillibean Soup blog

i can not tell you how i love these wise words, they are amazing and jill's handwriting is awesome!

i decided to stitch the "me" in the word smile to correlate with the sentiment "you make 'me' smile"

this one was on the blog for Roree's challenge this week

 

she created a Pinterest-inspired sketch that is absolutely amazing and so versatile

 

on this next card, i used scraps from the Midway line

one of my favorite OA lines ever

again, more OA Midway, loooove this happy line!

we were sick in my household this month, with this terrible head cold and i did not get to post a lot of projects, so in the next few days, i plan to share a few of them here on my blog.  there are a lot of new things being released this time of year and i am excited to share with you the fun new things over at Jillibean Soup

♥ CupCards to Go Flutterby ♥

Are you ready for a new CupCards to Go Spring card kit?  The Spring kits are some of my absolute favorites from CupCards to Go.  I love how we say goodbye to winter, cold, the blues and burst out with some yellows, pinks, reds and blueberry.  You are sure to love this kit, packed full of Pebbles goodness and the most fun embellies, you are going to have a fun time and feel spring in your bones, I just know it.

the kit this month comes with two "postcard" style cards and envelopes and they are AWESOME, can't wait to see what the other designers came up with using these.  the cute postcard style is perfect for decorating the front and turning over for a quick note, but don't forget the cute envelope, pretty it up to match the postcard and you're sure to put a smile on someone's face

i challenged myself this month to use the "house" stickers that come in the kit in a way other than houses.  i decided to use them as "banner arrows" since arrows are really "in" right now.  i love the look of all three of them together and to add dimension, i lifted the "triangle" portion of the houses up slightly so as to be "pointing"

 looooove the butterfly and clothespin sentiment, loooove them.  this will be going to a special someone....wink
